Employee Job Satisfaction (JS)
Listen
Job satisfaction in organizations is a very well-researched topic.
According to scholarly research, job satisfaction is positively related to various factors such as “organizational commitment” [1], “leader empowering behaviours” [2], participative decision-making [3], workplace flexibility [4], a cooperative environment [5], training [6,7,8], “respectful treatment” of staff and workplace design [9, 10].
Employees are satisfied with their job primarily due to a respectful treatment in the organization. For example, scholarly research demonstrates that 67% of employees rated “respectful treatment” as “very important,” positioning it at the top of the list [11]. Furthermore, there are various successful ways to enhance the job satisfaction of employees, such as human sustainability training [12].
