Definition of Job Satisfaction (JS)
Listen
Job satisfaction is an important topic and there is a lot of scholarly research that examines it in organizations. There are many definitions of employee job satisfaction in the workplace. I use the following definition:
Job satisfaction is “the degree of positive affect towards a job or its components. This is determined by characteristics both of the individual and of the job, and particularly how work is organized within the corporate work environment” [1].
This definition indicates that I view job satisfaction as a positive concept [2].
