“Human sustainability is when organisations respect human beings as free, rational and responsible, include them in policy formulation and decision-making and encourage them to build mutual respect with all persons within and beyond their organisations” (Meleti, Elli, 2020, PhD Doctoral Thesis, p. 36).

All Hands In

Human sustainability (HS) for organizations, institutions, universities, focuses on people and a respectful manner of treating them always as ends in themselves and never as means only. HS deals with issues such as respect for workers, good communication and information sharing, participative decision-making, meaningful-work and decent pay. In other words, human sustainability prioritises people in organizations at all levels, as well as their wellbeing.

I consult managers in organisations and institutions to help them plan and design strategies and policies of human sustainability (HS) that are tailor-made for their organisations and institutions. That is always done in collaboration with managers so they can share their thoughts and views. Thus, managers and myself co-create the HS plan (i.e., how to enhance human sustainability at the decision-making process and the information-sharing process of the organization). Please feel free to send me any questions at the contact form and I will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

About me

I am a sociologist, a communicator and a manager because of my education; I am a manager, a consultant and an academic because of my working experience; I am a respectful person because of my values and principles who respects all persons including employees at all levels in organizations. Thus, because of my education, my working experience and my values and principles, I focus on human sustainability (HS) in order to help employees, managers and organizations become more sustainable and thrive in the short and long run.

"I was a client of the companies Mrs Elli Meleti was working for in the sector of continuity promotions for supermarket chains and I know her since 1996. Mrs Elli Meleti is very good in forming relationships and she could easily deal with people throughout the chain of command. She has always been trustworthy, polite, enthusiastic about her work and available in case of need. Her interpersonal communication skills are of a high standard. I would describe Mrs Elli Meleti overall as a goal oriented, respectful and hardworking professional, as well as a pleasant person to work with."
